Core band members include Keith Myers, Chris Foreman, Larry Menard, Charlie Rees, David Varisco, Sharona Thomas, and Bryan Perrin. With this line up, Coteau Grove delivers tight musicianship, rich vocals, and harmonies spanning genres from Cajun and classic country to R&B and rock, occasionally featuring special guest appearances by national recording artists, including Grammy Award winner Wayne Toups and John Elefante, former lead singer of the rock band Kansas (by request).

Coteau Grove Band is available for select performances, including nonprofit events, fundraisers, and private engagements.

Acadiana Realtors Association Gumbo Cookoff

Join us on Wednesday, October 22 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at Parc International for the annual RAA Gumbo Cook-Off. This year’s theme is “Decades,” so come dressed to impress and enjoy an evening filled with delicious gumbo, community fun, and family-friendly activities. Our REALTORS® and Affiliates will be cooking and serving their best gumbos for all to enjoy. Tickets are $10 presale and $15 cash at the door, with children 10 and under admitted free. A children’s costume contest will also be part of the festivities. This event is open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit Acadiana Veteran Alliance, FUNraisers, and CASA of St. Landry & Evangeline.

Louisiana Champions Day at The Fair Grounds

Louisiana Champions Day is an annual premier horse racing event at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots in New Orleans, celebrating the best Louisiana-bred Thoroughbreds. Held annually in December, the 2026 event features seven stakes races with over $900,000 in total purses. The 2025 highlight was Touchuponastar winning the Classic for a record fourth consecutive time.
